Eid Gift
Championing Local and Global Impact
During the pandemic, when in-person celebrations were paused, Eid in Bedford continued to uphold its humanitarian mission. In 2020, the team donated £7,000 to Islamic Relief, providing Eid gifts to over 700 families in Palestine. The initiative demonstrated the event’s ongoing commitment to supporting the vulnerable – locally and internationally.
This year we aim to collaborate with Bedford Hospital and deliver Eid gifts to the children’s ward for a more local impact.
Our continued collaboration with a range of national and local charities enables us to support causes such as food assistance, housing, mental health, and youth development. Together with our partners, we’ve helped:
- Provide emergency aid
- Educate hundreds in essential life skills
- Support unaccompanied young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK
